It’s the last convention of the year for me, and I’m also making books and such for it. I didn’t make my Journey goal, but it’s still in process.
October will continue the Vincent and Filaire comics and next week, I hope to get Swiftpaw started. It’s on my priority list.
When convention time is over, I will begin updating PURE and Sivine Blades in black and white here, if I’m able to. I am also adding a new comic… which did not exist before exactly one week ago. If you’ve been following Twitter, you know what happened. I got an idea, it wrote itself down, outlined, scripted to completion with 4.5 years worth of updates if I update once a week. 234 pages, 14 chapters.. written in days. The last time I did that much scripting was when I began on Alien DIce, which was still not that excessive at first.
Above the Horizon is EASY. It is visually driven and paced with minimal backgrounds. There are only two characters for 80% of the comic, which takes place in one of two places: Underwater or on a deserted island. 😀 😀
It’s a Black Rose universe story, involving a mer and a girl he rescued after she was knocked off a sailboat following a collision with another ship during a storm in the gulf of mexico. Young teens, as opposed to older teens.
I may have needed a break from all the lettering and needed to do some artistic flexing with creative layouts. I need to make some special brushes to go with it too.
PURE, Sivine Blades, and Above the Horizon will be exclusive to Patreon first, then go up on Inkblazers.
